New Friends Publishing is a Buckhead, Atlanta based company, created by two Buckhead women who were frustrated by the lack of information about reliable local business and services. After gathering bits and pieces of information from neighbors and acquaintances, it was obvious that formally surveying residents and compiling the information into a book format would fill a great need in the community. Residents of Buckhead are now provided with a treasure of exclusive referrals.

Initially, the concept was developed for newly relocated Buckhead residents, but as research was conducted, it was discovered that the book is a great help to established residents as well. The book eases the task of locating trusted healthcare professionals, specialty boutiques, travel destinations, pet boarding, scholastic tutors, contractors…the list is truly endless.

The 2007 Edition has been a huge success with residents. Many have contacted the company with praise for the referrals, saying that the book rests next to the phone and is accessed several times a week. Advertisers have been thrilled as well. They know that The Referral Guide hits their target market, and as an annual publication, their businesses are showcased regularly throughout the year.
